Roll of Masters

Due to our extensive history dating back to at least 1695, it is no surprise that the role of our Masters is quite considerable and as the role spans five centuries we have decided to list the masters in that same order. For the sake of brevity we have decided to list the dates on which the masters were installed only. More information on some of the masters can be found within our history section.

The Right Worshipful Master
RWM Bro. James Carruthers

Bro. James Carruthers was installed as Right Worshipful Master on Wednesday 10th December 2025 by Installing Master Bro. James Dorricott P.M.. Bro. Carruthers P.M. installed his own office bearers at our 330th annual ceremony of Installation. There was a good attendance from the brethren of No.7 at the Installation and a large presence of brethren from Lodges within and out with the province of Lanarkshire Middle Ward. That night the Master received his 50 year diploma .

'I wish to express my gratitude to the Past Masters, Office Bearers and Brethren of the Lodge for the honour of being installed as Master of Lodge Hamilton Kilwinning No 7 and look forward to leading the Lodge into a bright future'.
